Florence and the Machine star Florence Welch wants to crack America but is concerned about how long she would have to be away from her family.
Florence Welch fears homesickness will stop her from cracking America.
The 'Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)' singer - who fronts British band Florence and the Machine - is concerned she will miss her friends and family too much to successfully launch her career overseas and embark on long tours.
She said: ''Break' is such a hard word. It sort of implies that you're going to end up breaking yourself. America's such a big country. You see the tour schedule of someone like Taylor Swift and it goes on for, like, two years! There's so much of America to see, it would be an amazing experience. But I get homesick.'
Meanwhile, the flame-haired beauty has revealed she adores discovering new music and is obsessed with the US Grammy award-winning Lil Wayne.
She explained: 'What's exciting about music is that there's always something new. When I first heard, 'A Milli' by Lil Wayne, I was like, 'Oh, God. This is the best thing I've heard in my life!' I get obsessed with songs and listen to them again and again and again. I could eat music.'
